Frequently Asked Questions
What is kitchen wrapping?
Kitchen wrapping is a way of transforming your existing kitchen using architectural vinyl. Rather than replacing your cupboards, doors and worktops, we professionally apply a new finish over the existing surfaces to give your kitchen a completely new look.
How much does it cost to wrap a kitchen?
The cost depends on the size of your kitchen, the surfaces you’d like wrapped and the finish you choose. Kitchen wrapping is generally considerably more affordable than replacing an entire kitchen. You can use our online quote form to send us some details and photos for a personalised quote.
Can you wrap kitchen cupboards and doors?
Yes. We can wrap most kitchen cupboards, doors, drawer fronts, end panels, plinths and other suitable surfaces. We’ll check the condition and style of your existing kitchen before confirming what’s suitable for wrapping.
Can kitchen worktops be wrapped?
Yes. Existing worktops can often be wrapped using durable architectural vinyl, with finishes including realistic marble, stone and other designs. We’ll assess the condition of your worktops first to make sure they’re suitable.
What types of kitchen doors can be wrapped?
Most flat, Shaker-style and many grooved kitchen doors can be wrapped. Some door designs or damaged surfaces may not be suitable, so we ask for photos as part of our quotation process to check this beforehand.
How long does kitchen wrap last?
A professionally installed architectural vinyl can last for 10 or more years when properly looked after. Lifespan will depend on the surface, usage and how the kitchen is maintained.
Is kitchen vinyl waterproof?
Architectural vinyl is water-resistant and suitable for normal kitchen use. Wrapped surfaces can be wiped clean, although standing water and excessive heat should still be avoided.
Can I choose the colour and finish?
Absolutely. There are hundreds of finishes available, including modern mattes, woodgrains, marble, stone effects and solid colours. We can help you choose a finish that works with the rest of your kitchen.
Will I be able to see samples before choosing?
Yes. We can show you samples of suitable architectural vinyl finishes so you can see the colour and texture before making your final choice.
Do you remove the kitchen doors when wrapping them?
Where appropriate, doors and drawer fronts can be removed during installation to achieve a clean professional finish. The exact process depends on the design of your kitchen and the surfaces being wrapped.
Do I need to empty my kitchen before you arrive?
You generally won’t need to completely empty your cupboards. We may ask you to clear worktops and move certain items before we arrive so that we have a clean and accessible area to work in.
Can damaged or peeling kitchen doors be wrapped?
It depends on their condition. Vinyl needs a suitable, stable surface to adhere to, so badly damaged, peeling or deteriorated doors may need repairing or replacing first. Send us some photos and we can advise you.
How do I look after a wrapped kitchen?
Wrapped kitchens are easy to maintain. Use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild cleaning product. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
Do you only offer kitchen wrapping?
Kitchen wrapping is our main service, but we also undertake selected commercial interior wrapping projects, including reception desks, counters, office furniture and other suitable surfaces.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Norfolk and provide kitchen wrapping throughout Norwich, Wymondham, Attleborough, Dereham, King’s Lynn and surrounding areas. For larger projects, we’re also happy to discuss work further afield.
